How long would it take to fall off the world's tallest building?
May 11, 2011 by 1
Did a little research tonight after seeing this article. Though the man only made it down 39 floors, I was curious to see how long it would take to fall from the top to the bottom. It would take an average weight human male 23 seconds to fall from the top of the Burj Khalifa to the ground, taking into account air reistance. The unfortunate individual would reach a maximum velocity of around 42 m/s (94 mph) after approximately 11 seconds.
Thanks, Wolfram Alpha for saving me calculation time!
